In Memory – Dennis Alston Ray

This page is dedicated to Dennis Alston Ray who passed away after a long battle with Sarcoidosis on September 1, 2012. Dennis traveled the world performing and along the way releasing an album and performing a one man tribute show in NYC to his idol Sam Cooke. He also performed on David Letterman’s annual Christmas special with Darlene Love for several years. I was lucky to have known him and these are mixes of some practice vocals he did at my studio back in 1984.
